WG, Incorporated was started in May of 1989 by Fritz Wildeman and his daughter Karen Eike in the basement of Fritz’s Neenah home. Fritz would go out and sell decals/signs for WG in the morning before going to his full time 2nd shift job. Karen would design and manufacture all the signs and decals and together they would install.
By 1991 the business was doing well and Marc Wildeman, Karen’s brother, was done with his second term in the Navy and decided to join the family business. They moved out of the basement and into 1000 sq.ft. building in 1992. The shop was small but the company had many large accounts including Wisconsin Central Railroad and Cleaning Systems Incorporated. Train decals and Car wash signage started the long term manufacturing philosophy WG has today.
In 1995 they purchased the building at 320 N. Commercial Street in Neenah, Wisconsin. This 9,000 sq. ft building has seen many changes over the years. In 2000 WG started the screen-printing department to ensure the quality and turn around time needed for their customers. The digital printing dept was started in 2001 and has expanded into three printers over the last seven years. All three areas of manufacturing – Flat Bed Cutting, Digital Printing and Screen Printing work together to provide the best quality signs and decals available in the valley.
Over the years WG has given back to the community through many charitable projects which included signage for the The Building for Kids, Quarry Quest 1999-2003, numerous golf outings (too many to name), many local church and school fund raisers.
